He's a handsome little man DB.
They make a good mate eh?
I had a Palouse Pony for 35yrs.
He was a funny bastard, loved a good fart, I'd like a dollar for every time he flicked up his tail and grunted out a cracker when I was in range. He'd toss his head and blow a raspberry, I swear he was laughing at me. You could tell it was deliberate by the way he'd clench his gut like he'd been spurred.

His girlfried was a Shetland who was inseparable from him for over 20yrs.
Poor old guy was lost without her.

What an interesting pattern on the skin Daddybang...
Do horses make good leather...? :D :unknown: :sarcasm:

Seriously though...are they in different pens DB...?
If so, is that just for birthing the foals...?

Yep they do make good leather!! 8-)
The mare is already slated to become a wall hanging when her times up :D :drinks:
And yeah different pens/paddock as this mare can be a bit stroppy as she was really mistreated by a previous c@#t of an owner so couldn't take the chance of her injuring herself or the grey mare when they were so close to foaling! :drinks:
The breed with that pattern is known as an Appaloosa or Palouse.(Palouse is just the European way to pronounce the. Nez Perce Indian word Appaloosa) :drinks:
