Just an observation in the same context as the thread subject.

I have often wondered when I see men who have "seen the truth about women" after a string of bad relationships, and conlude that statistically, based on their own personal experience, they are all just bitches and we're all better off without.
All these bitches that gave these poor buggers such historys, how many of them went on to have asuccessful relationship with a different guy?

Nobody wants to think there might be something unappealing or unattractive about them to the opposite sex. No bloke wants to think that after multiple crashes, he may perhaps be doing something wrong.
That's monkey brain, survival instinct stuff.
Some groups can be cathartic for those who've suffered, but if they aren't structured and guided properly the members tend to feed off each other and instead of moving on they ossify into a position they haven't the strength of character to resile from.

Well the red pill is the truth and that also includes the truth about yourself. If you are not getting the results you want, you need to update your belief system and your life's system and processes.

What is the Red Pill:

Wannaroo, I look at things like this as being akin to religion. Some people, when adversity strikes, go into a sort of shell to protect themselves against further harm from that source.
Perfectly logical psychological response, but if they don't make the concious effort to break out of that shell it becomes permanent.

To some people, groups of individuals in a similar condition getting together and discussing their situation can, as I said be cathartic, as religion can be for those who are able to believe in it.

They see whatever brings them succour as "the truth" because they feel it works for them, just as the devout believers in the supernatural see their belief system as the truth because of whatever it is they feel they gain from their activities.

After getting splattered by a runaway semi, I was booked, without being consulted, into a support group for people with life changing injuries.
I lasted 3 days and had to leave, it all seemed a bit bloody morbid, all these adults sitting round trying to outdo each other's dramas like old people in a nursing home.
That was 22yrs ago and some of those people still haven't moved on, but they are obviously gaining something from it, even if it's only companionship.

Rudy Giuliani's ridiculous seeming statement "truth isn't truth", something I laughed at when I first heard it, is if you think about it, actually correct.

The truth you and others see in this red pill business is your truth, because you feel it has benefitted you.

The truth a devoutly religious person sees in their religion is their truth because they feel it has benefitted them.

Neither of those truths, while perfectly valid for those who feel the need to make them their truth, are remotely valid for me, and what I hold as "truth" would probably hold little validity for them.

So mate, if it is working for you, and you feel you are in a better mindset as a result of it, only a total cvnt would try to tarnish it for you.

My comments, the same as everyone's, are filtered through my perception of the world, I had no intention of lessening the value you get from belief in this, and apologize if they had that inadvertent effect.

Clementine Ford has resigned her position with Fairfax. She failed to respond to my tweet (above) and I suspect that she is a person who cannot stand her ground, after slinging mud at unsuspecting targets. I suppose it's a cross that men have to bear so that other people can get their kicks.

Dunno, I'm not keen to give her type the attention she craves - at least on an individual basis.

Now that you mention it, that "type" might just be looking for oxygen and ignoring them might be the best way to go. In the past, when I have challenged people (mostly women), you never hear from them. They don't like the blowtorch on the belly.

I haven’t really paid any attention to her previously and only did so in the last few days because of the articles written around her departure from employment. My honest personal opinion is that whilst I think most of what she says is nonsense; I feel some pity for her. She presents as a very angry and unhappy person who blames the world for her problems. I certainly wouldn’t want to live inside her head. Having said that, we live in a free country so now she is no longer employed she will no doubt continue to express her hatred of all things Bloke. She can knock herself out. Me? I am just going to continue to enjoy my male privilege, living in a nice part of the world, looking at my financial future with optimism. I am not convinced Clemementine’s biting the hand that feeds her was a commercially sound decision.

In my opinion she is a bit of a dill and a caricature. But, bless her, she lives in a free country and the rest of us will extend more tolerance to her, than she extends to us. I read some of her posts in which she complains about her poor financial position. It is a shame that she never learned any financial management skills when she discovered that all men are bastards when she was doing Women’s Studies at uni. I’ve never been much of a one for fancy book learning, but at her age I was paying off my home, raising two young daughters and accumulating enough super to enable me to be optimistic about my financial future. A bit of a difference was I had learned the importance of civility and keeping the boss happy. I am curious about whether enough of her Patreon supporters will pay her to “curse men” to enable her to avoid homelessness.

Lol sorry had to google firstly to find out who Ford is, and what happened. She is married so will now likely live off the income from her (male) husband....the irony.

Or maybe the husband left her, and shacked up with a younger woman, and that's why she is angry lately

Nothing to disagree with there. The test for her is will enough individuals be prepared to pay her directly to support herself and her family. She is just about to find out. Free market economics is funny like that.

I quite like Neil mitchel. He's not as right wing as some of thre other guys on 3aw like Andrew bolt or the 4pm guy tom Elliott. So that says something about this lady.

An excellent Michael Douglas and Robert Duval movie on Mate at 9 tonight, called Falling Down, covers how one guy reacted when it got too much.

Agree 100% with all your posts. Also all the best to you Tassie tiger, hope it works out.
Im sick in the stomach of all of this social proggressive ideology being forced through all angles of media. The news, tv series, Netflix and all social media have a strong left wing slant that aims to promote feminism, immigration and homosexuality. All of those ideologies that are being pushed are all anti family. The rise of radical feminism divides men and women. The rampant arrival of ethnic people to Australia divides communities, and the further promotion of homosexual relationships is not in the essence of the traditional pro life family.
These agendas are being taught and normalised in all schools and institutions. Im afraid that we are in the early stages of socialism. It will get worse before it gets better.
What are your thoughts?
