Storing Bueys in the safe.

Post by CrackThump » 02 Apr 2019, 4:52 pm

My first bluey turned up in the mail today and I got all excited and ran straight off to the gun safe to put it away when a thought struck me...

Is it a good idea to store the rego papers with the goods. ?

Is it common to have the rego papers with the goods in the safe. ?

I mean, in the event of fire, loss, theft or other catastrophic ******, and the safe is destroyed or missing, would it be better idea to have the rego papers elsewhere for records, police, insurance etc etc etc. ?

Other peoples thoughts and practices. ?

I keep mine in a plastic folder in the main safe, along with a copy of the Qld safe storage rules just in case i ever get an officer with an attitude or lack of knowledge on an inspection. :drinks:

I also have photos of all my paperwork on my phone & computer.

They're pink in Victoria. I keep them in their own file in a filing cabinet in the house.
