i did the byron blues thing from 1990-2000, lot of fun. it used to be a lot smaller, cheaper and a bit more personal with the performers years ago . should be a good weekend for ya blr , knock those foxes and dogs mate, hope ya get a few cats as well . i'm hoping the promise of a trip to a property pans out the easter weekend, probably doing a trip to tenterfield the next weekend at least anyway . best of luck and stay safe, lots of halfwits on the road at easter, double demerit points in nsw as well i think

Going to the brother-in-laws farm on the Friday, coming back Monday. We will no doubt cull some pests. I am going to see if I can whistle up some foxes. We will also take a day trip to Point Anne east of Bremer Bay. All in all it should be a relaxing and enjoyable long weekend.

That’s a good tip to remind us all about driving safely and double demerit points. 6 demerit points would be uncomfortable

That's the plan :) I've got a new target system to setup and I'm picking up a Bisalloy 500 plate this evening that's claimed to be 50 BMG rated. Once I run out of cats and get some practice in I'm going to test just how BMG rated the plate is

Now that the hunting trip has folded think i might look for some properties. Apparently ill be looking solo as mates deem it too booring to find new places. Sorry rant over.

Let me guess: they don’t find it too boring to shoot on the new properties you have secured?

Yea mate 3 years and to date they have got nothing although it is much better to go with mates i just wish they were a little more proactive with looking/securing new properties.

As it happens I will be off on a shooting trip too. I have some loading/testing/sighting in to do for the property owners .223, and then try and get some dogs that have been attacking his sheep.

Both farmers are away & i dont have any friends so looks like i dont have to share my bacon fat with anyone...

BUT...!!...that also means i have to clean & pack up myself...
