Qld is the only place that I ever got frostbite. It was at Stanthorpe one winter and we were hunting rabbits. The rabbits had more sense than to get out of bed I reckon. Used to plough at night in winter in the Liverpool Valley in NSW and never turned a hair, in spite of the tractor's top-up, radiator water freezing over every night.

Got down to -0.7C, then the batteries packed it in. Now have to climb the six meter tower to replace them. Glad we have these cheap China diesel heaters for the house, brought the temp up from 9-10C to the 20C int he photo in about 10 minutes, 25C in around 12-13 minutes.

Had a light frosting here too, but couldn't get any decent photos as it had burnt off just on daybreak.
