I have a new unused mag --it is for 22/250 ---would that do the job? It is good for .243 as well which is the .308 case anyway--it should do the job.

Thanks Allan, am looking forward to putting it to work.

Now I will be able to have one mag full of 180gr for pigs and the other mag full of 130gr JHPs for dogs.
Have just one rifle and simply change mags if and when required.
Seeing as most if not all shots taken during the nights are less than 150 meters, the difference in trajectory is negligible.
