Ziad wrote:Ahh bioweapon... i hear that rumor, to me it sounds so funny like i am watching a movie, how did the virus escape, did it put on a pair of Nike airwalkers and run away. Maybe a vegan protestor broke into their animal testing labs and liberated all the lab mice and lab rats. It would be good if it was, something for the trump loving to gloat about.

While we are gloating about the bioweapon escaping, and yes the bioweapon is an amusing story, what's more interesting is, in light of the media scaremongering, i have seen a huge rise in the price of p2 masks in Australia.... and how big is the epidemic in Australia.... unless the media has hidden the numbers its still less than 20 confirmed cases and no deaths...yet

And in misery, enterprising humans are selling masks for 10 to 20ea, even some wholesalers have increased their prices by 10 times. So a mask that was selling for $0.90 just four months ago (cuz we bought a huge shipment) is now selling for $15ea. Seeing we use a huge number of masks every year i think the procurement manager probably deserves a pay rise... or atleast a good bottle of scotch)

Instead ill just get myself another gun seeing i hired the guy, so it was my genious and foresight anyway.

90,000 people dead from the flu, darn bring this into context.

TT, suxnet was deployed, plus it's a computer virus. From memory i believe CDC in US, have samples of practically all viruses, for "research" proposes. But going back to the bioweapon, if it was an issue we would have seen virus releases from other countries. Because bet you may, they have plenty of foreign trained scientists for them not to do this type of stuff. If you look into cronavirus family it originates from animals and spreads to humans. After the SARS virus there was a big crackdown on selling wild animals which was repealed a year or so ago in certain parts of China.

The first group of Wuhan’s 2019-nCoV patients were mostly traders at the market; one early patient had never visited it. The wet market had a section selling some 120 wildlife animals across 75 species. The first group of Wuhan patients is similar to the first group of Sars patients, who were also traders of wildlife in Guangdong.

I understand MM, in China like most of the world, and very unlike the socialist setup of Australia, there is hardly any sick or annual leave (usually around 10 days a year which is usually forced to be taken every year). Usually most businesses are not made of money mate, no sales = no money= no work. Case in point all the clothing retailers going burst in Australia or George C. Resturant employees losing their jobs.

Or even look at Holden, they don't sell enough cars=no jobs

l totally understand the situation ziad  l know how it works

Hmm interesting news development. Trump cut 9% budget of CDC, and proposing another 16% cut (Even in light of the current media scare campaign).

Does he know something that we don't... could it be a mountain out of a molehill.

For those who dont know CDC is the American centre for disease control

Weather true or not there are congress members on both the Democrat and Republican sides in the United states that are treating it as a possible bioweapon, after all China's major bio lab is in Wuhan.

True or not it's about time all these governments stop f***ing with such things, cant remember if it's Kazakhstan or Uzbekistan, but one of them still has a 100% operating bioweapon plant, yunno anthrax and the likes. So it's not as if this s**t doesn't go on.

China has possibly the worst human rights record of any nation, yes they even make north Korea look tame, their people are generally (sadly), pushy, greedy, selfish, obsessed with money, scammers, rude, inconsiderate, and in poor areas above all desperate. It's a melting pot of bad.

The worst thing about China are it's leaders, and what they do to other people, it wouldn't surprise me in the least if China has a thriving undocumented and undisclosed bio weapon interest, and given the proliferation of sicknesses that come from China it wouldn't be a surprise in the least. They are an ethno-fascist communist regime.

Tell us how you really feel lol.
You would be naive to think USA, ussr, uk, maybe Even au - don’t have their own black ops bio weapon departments...
The recent IT bugs developed by USA to screw up Iran’s centrifuged nuclear facilities(successfully) is another game changer - one tech guy from nsa quoted as saying, it is getting to the point where military will be too scared to fire a tech heavy missile, for fear of a historical hack that could see it do anything...explode on take off, divert to another target, what ever...

Lots go on in the back end...”you want the truth? You can’t handle the fukn truth...”

True dat Tassie.

I doubt you actually know the location. Let alone the state the bio weapons lab is. Anyway i can't actually find any real reference except this article
https://www.businessinsider.com/coronav ... eak-2020-2
Logic would say, if they created it don't you think they would have a cure for this disease.

Anyway, i heard that America actually released it. And another one where China stole the virus from Canada.

If you wash your hands and maintain some semblance of cleanliness and good health you will be fine {not always the case in China or on airplanes}.
Normal household disinfectants will kill the virus.
Our labs were able to duplicate it in 2 days so it's not a complex virus.
If you want to believe the hype in the media then do so. You'll die of anxiety first.

Couldn’t agree more mate!! I’m currently sitting with two doctors and they’ve been saying the same thing. It’s not deadly unless you’re a frail 70+ year and even then you prolly won’t get it.
Honestly, this is a storm in a teacup and not worth the hype hype the media are pumping into it.

Harmless or not mum just bought another 4 weeks supply of MRE rations, flameless ration heaters and bags of sugar and honey. I suggest you all at least stock up on your supplies. Every home should at least have 6 months food/water supply on hand incase of emergencies. My grandad is German and he always tells me how he had to eat his pet horse after the war because he was so hungry and thats all they had. So better to have and not need than need and not have.

Just an FYI Australia has bugger all fuel reserves. After a few days of no oil comming in than the trucks stop delivering to the stores and the shelfs become empty real quick once the panic sets in. Nothing scarier or more unstable than a desperate and hungry person with a family to provide for. No telling what they will do to provide for their kin.

You honestly think it’s going to come to this post-apocalyptic scenario you’re indicating. You should work in the media.

Australia’s oil reserve situation is disgustingly shy of requirements...

Do you know how WW1 started? Old mate stopped to buy a sandwhich and the archdukes driver took a wrong turn and just happened to be where he was buying his sandwhich. Then the dominos fell. Austria sent the demands to Serbia. Germany backed Austria. Russia and France were in full mobilisation surrounding Germany so Germany invaded France to knock them out before Russia could be fully mobilised because they thought they would be the bigger threat because of their bigger army. Then the UK and the dominions(commonwealth) went to war to defend Belgium as stated in the treaty of London 1839.

So a guy stopping to buy a sandwhich changed history to this day. So anything can happen mate. Better to be a wolf than be a sheep. Everytime I buy a subway sandwhich I think to myself. Will I change history today?

Well i was in Aldi just before it closed tonight.

Only had 3 things so was a bit peeved that the guy infront of me had more than a trolley full with a large section of the conveyor belt covered in groceries.
.
But taking a closer look, apart from a jar of honey or jam & a couple of small grocery items, the rest was all just 2 items...

There was atleast a dozen boxes of (aldi's version of) weetbix, along with atleast 30 litres of long life milk...
Or put it this way...the trolley was full with cartons of longlife milk, plus some on the conveyor belt, & he would easily stack fill another trolley with all the weetbix...

I figured he must be involved in a footy club or something & got this for a weekend...

After the checkout chick did her thing, she asked if its for an organisation...
Well he laughed...then he scoffed eith a smile, looked down, then looked up with a very harsh slmost aggressive look & said--and i wuote--"anyone who doesnt have a months worth of food stored right now is a fukn idiot..."...
Then he looked at me & the checkout chick, & mumbled something about the virus...

After he left i confirmed with the checkout girl thst he had that stuff for storing due to the virus...

I must be missing something... :unknown:
The man who knows everything, doesnt really know everything...he's just stopped learning...
