l personally have always sort of admired David Attenborough and his wildlife films made by the BBC
because of some of the debate we were having on the forum l came across two utube films showing him, his cameramen and producers in a few out and out lies, here is a short utube film that shows some of it as well as why Greta become so unhappy with what she believed was happening
it shows why we should be thinking about our grandchildren and why l dont admire David Attenborough anymore, actually find him abhorrent

I watched the video and seeing footage of natural events with storey twisted to fit a narrative does the environmental cause no good.

I consider myself an environmentalist, i certainly don’t enjoy watching plastic bags and drink bottles float past when im fishing and im concerned about the toxins (Just like serj: https://youtu.be/iywaBOMvYLI ) , pollutants in the seafood i eat and the invasive species of weeds and animals altering the natural order of things. But none of this calls for extreme action. We are a smart species, i think we can engineer a way of life that is less wasteful, gear our economy for renewables in a way that doesn’t neglect regional Australia then that is a good thing. I think the feds have to take some initiative on this before the next election because the pendulum is shifting, and if there is perceived to be inaction from the feds then we can only expect that pendulum to swing fully the other way at the next election and we will wind up with some draconian policies being implemented. It is my dream, my nightmare.

Just some ideas that might have some merit;

Harvesting lard tracts of land invested with weed like lantana for paper pulping or compressed fibre.
Building mass production disposable kit homes in bushfire areas of eco friendly materials but also ensuring people have access to a suitable safe space like a bunker with filtered air supply and provisions.
Using bush fuel load in built areas as an energy source. They are already using things like macadamia shells.
National service for young people not employed or in education (Like greta) to undertake disaster relief duties like logistics, cleanup, etc.

if its one thing my wife has taught me, the best thing you can do for the young ones is read to them a lot. You pick the literature, get to discuss the various morals of the storey, and shape them into the critical thinkers you want them to be. None of the books in our house are fairy tales with two daddys thats for sure. The more old school the better i’ve found out. We borrowed snow white and the seven dwarves from the library and it turned out to be an anger management lesson for grumpy dwarf. Had to laugh at that though.

The worst is abc kids tv. That show grubby tv is the indoctrination into leftist ideology at its worst. Its centred around a polyamorous commune with more Rainbow flag insignia than Oxford st. Old disney is okay, but the newer stuff is garbage as well. Some of todays kids don’t stand a chance, and its largely due to parental ignorance unfortunately.

I worry about stuff like you say for my little man Potatoes, he will be read to alot. Older books. I'll conveniently leave hunting and fishing magazines around when he is older. TV, my wife and I will choose the program thanks, but at the same time he needs to be taught the newer things as it is a new world. But maybe i can attempt to do some analysis, seeing i have watched a half episode or two. You are like any other fanatic, be that gay rights, green, vegan. Want to get on your high horse, and start posting and forcing videos and webpages that align to your belief system. When you get someone to criticise your belief system you get angry and start posting even more regularly, even more outrageous statements.
