It worked VERY well

Post by Die Judicii » 25 Apr 2020, 11:38 am

The gadget I slapped together the other day ("Crude Simple but Effective" in the 4WD section) worked in a trial,,,, but certainly worked very well yesterday to load an assortment of firewood
on the trailer. All different shapes and sizes of wood left behind by previous woodcutters, presumably because a lot of it was crooked, twisted, and or knotty and too hard to split for a lot of people.
In my way of thinking this is usually the best burning,, and offers no challenge to my wood splitter machine.

More often than not, the ugly stuff burns best.
All of that trailer load was what was left behind by others picking off the cream.

Yeah, when I get it home it's easy to unload with the tractor,,,, and then I cut it into rings,,,,, which in turn get split.
Doing it at home is easier for chainsaw maintenance etc,,,,,,,,, rather than being out bush and wishing you had stuff.
