Who here acts like a kid does,,,,, on Xmas morning

By that I mean,,,,,,,, when you buy another firearm or accessory, be it brand new or in excellent 2nd hand condition.
I'll admit that I do.
Wow,,,,,,,,,,, the unwrapping,,, checking everything is correct,, present,,,,, as described,,,,,, etc etc.
I find this more so when getting something 2nd hand and discovering that it is hard to distinguish from brand new.

I love it.

Mate - I get stupid when I get that PTA in my hand...more so than the actual firearm! It’s silly.
I don’t think I’ve held a permit to acquire longer than 48 hours...even when I didnt have a firearm nominated on form, and just put cat B - I’m like a kid. I ve had friends on Wednesday, arrange for me to view one of their rifles on weekend and by time they get it to me - PTA is gone...

And yet the greenies,, anti's,, powers at hand would take all that away in a flash from the LAFOS,,,,,, given half a chance.

Such a simple, basic, and enjoyable thing for most of us. The Bustards.

Love those pta envelopes with a plastic window so u can see a bit of light blue paper inside ....then it’s stuff work , I gotta drive to gun store to pick it up. And I gotta look at it all the way home when I’m sposed to be watching the road ...then about an hour later I’m over it and I just Put it in the safe

I have in the mail a new trigger for my 4570 lever gun. But I think when it arrives I’ll be patient enough to book it in to a smith rather than attempt it myself

Lol last year I bought a H&R Trapdoor Carbine.45-70 just in time for my birthday so I wrapped it up just so I could unwrap it on my birthday. I posted it here. :-)
There's still a few of Wile. E Coyote's ideas that I haven't tried yet.
