Please consider getting first aid trained, and if you're able to find it, gunshot trauma/wound training also. Never know what could happen when hunting in a popular spot or something like that, best to have the knowledge, skills and equipment necessary to help the unfortunate soul.

I've watched rambo a few times so I'm pretty much an expert in gunshot wound treatment.
Fill the wound with gunpowder, ignite gunpowder, wince in pain ... soldier on.

On a more serious note
I'd hate to be hit with a hunting round ... DAMMAGE
There's been a couple of accidental shootings in the hunting arena over the last few years here in Australia. I hope everyone is taking measures to prevent it from happening... but as bangwizz suggests, it's definitely worth while learning a thing or two for the worst-case scenario

If I saw somebody accidentally shoot them selves in the foot the first thing I would do is take the rifle away from them

I had to google MAN CARD .........after Losing their man card they might need another card , one that drastically helps them get invited on More hunting trips
