USN Christens USS Canberra

Seen this? There's never been a USS London, Ottawa, or Auckland.

The first Canberra was built just a few miles from here, at Fore River. This new one was built far, far away, by Austal.

Cool, realistically, Australia is our best ally, so all good.

Thankyou Uncle Sam, that is a nice boat.
Please use it to blow up Canberra.

You have only some Aussie designer to blame for that.

Those who have fought alongside us value our contribution it's nice thank you.

The Last Post has been played at the Menin Gate in Ypres every night since WW1 they only stopped during WW2. The local fire brigade stop all traffic and stand in the middle of the road every night to do this. The walls of the gate have the names of the soldiers who didn't go home. It's been over 100 years and they haven't forgotten those who came to evict the Germans.

A few photos from France the Australian flag has flown alongside the French flag at every town hall in every city the Aussie diggers kicked the Germans out of in WW1. Our troops rebuilt a local school after evicting the Germans a sign above the playground shows they will never forget what our diggers did over there.

Trimarans have more stability than monohulls.

How stable would this thing be without training wheels?

Hope she sails many miles and not with the costs Canberra is accustomed to.
