I've got a spika safe. It's keypad is easily removed to gain access to the keyhole and 9v battery.
There are 4 wires connecting the key pad to a solenoid.
All that keeps it secure is a lack of voltage to the solenoid.
It's about as secure as a lunch box with a warning sticker on it that reads " do not eat contents"

I'm actually shocked they're solenoids inside for this reason.

But what on one wheel said I never even considered, all the wires do is carry current, so stupidly easy to bypass by applying power to the wires. And for a solenoid is not even polarity sensitive

Ok... ill put your mind at ease.
It's not quite as simple as that, atleast not with the spika.

Curiosity got the better of me and I've had a good look.

Lucky with enough experience to be dangerous I decided to perform some careful inspections and basic tests instead of trying the said "just power her up" method.

The keypad dose more than just supply a current to a motor solenoid. The system is much smarter than that, The keypad and motor actually "talk" to each other.
Simply inputting voltage randomly with the wires that link the two would most likely damage the electrical side of things within the safe door rendering the safe key only.

I have also discovered a secondary, spring loaded locking mechanism that will activate in the event of forceful activity such as drilling and levering incorrectly.

Incidently, my spika safe would not be able to be opened with a powerful magnet.
