Whatever happened to truth in advertising !

Advertised in usedguns as being in "Very Good" condition - at an initial price of $5,000, now reduced to $3,800.

Very Good condition ! Seriously ! It looks as though someone has removed all the rust with a Brillo pad..

The word advertising and truth are completely separate things
When good men and women can’t speak the truth, when facts are inconvenient, when integrity and character no longer matter, when ego and self-preservation are more important than national security — then there is nothing left to stop the triumph of evil

It's probably in "good" condition for a gun they found digging up Omaha Beach...
( No disrespect for those that were there )

As with any used purchase, get in touch with the seller, get more detailed photos, get it appraised if it is worth it. Descriptions mean very little to differing opinions.

Had a look at the ad itself. States a WW1 issue. Still, and although I am not an expert in such "collectables", I think the price is a bit much in regards to the condition it is in. Still there could be buyer for it. BUT not me.
