Things are getting desperate now. The UA is shelling that powerstation non stop. Their claim is the Russians have artillery in there. Maybe they do, maybe it's just guards on a nuclear facility as you do. Ironically the UA is firing their artillery from a city across the river.

The typical western claim a few months ago that the Russians were so stupid they were shelling Chernobyl and other plants. Then you find they were shooting at UA hiding in the out houses. Now the UA is shelling its, oh we need to get the Atomic Agency in there to oversee things. Or is that because the Russians turned off the grid connector to Kiev and Zelensky is on backup power? If this was a US war there would be no power, gas , water or communications.

That’s only what we know about, publicly announced. There’s no doubt Ukraine has received a lot more weapons and technology than we know about. Maybe we will never know.
What they’ve achieved so far with what they’ve officially been provided against all odds. A superpower with the world’s second biggest military. Cannot have been so easy.
And to contain that military to a pocket in the east for so long. No matter how hard it builds and tries to push forward. Truly remarkable.
Even if you are arguing if or them to bend over and take it, some credit where it’s due. A tale for the ages, that will officially end the age of imperialism and prove that world peace is not an elusive goal when the world works together.

I totally agree Womble, trouble is some people, or chatbots as I'm strating to suspect is the case, have no respect for anything or anyone. They have fairly simplistic algorithms so when you offer them logical questions beyond the scope of that algorithm, they either repeat past output or just don't respond.

The thing with chatbots, if you starve them of responses they reveal themselves by going round in a circle of repetition. As above.

The ukranians have said the russians have untrained technicians in there. Like the Russians don't already have their own nuclear experts.
Guess they are just telling the population the lights are going off in Kiev.

I have to admit to being a little conflicted on the subject of free speech.

I heard a quote from Salman Rushdie on telly earlier; "If you believe in the value of free speech, you also have to believe in the value of speech you don't like."

Trouble is, where do you draw the line?
Do we allow Nazis to preach their ideological spite in the name of freedom of speech?

Do we allow IS to preach their twisted misinterpretation of Islam?

The case in Skokie Illinois in 1977 is one example that sticks in my mind as going too far in the name of free speech.

Well things are going so great for Ukraine they are extending martial law and men of a less than fighting age can't leave and are being conscripted. This isn't going to end well.
