Firearm couriers in NSW

Post by LawrenceA » 24 Jun 2022, 10:37 pm

Hi al
I have sold a Pennsylvania rifle to a guy in northern NSW and cannot get a courier to take it or even just the stock.
Neither gunshop (here or there) seems to be able to help which I find really odd. I now any guns in WA need to be couriered so someone must carry them.

As the package is just short of 1.5m it is well over the Australia Post 1m rule and as the stock is one piece taking it apart doesn't help.
I am Told Star Track will take it but they quote a minimum of $350.

Can anyone enlighten me please?
One well placed shot is all it takes.

Have you discussed with your dealer, they'd be shipping rifles every week.
