If its such a threat why do they so activley remove any counter information. They dont do it with any other threat to humanity. If its all crap as they say it is why not let it run and it will show for its self if its crap or not...or does it get uncomfortably to close to the truth??? Seems a few "conspiricy theories" have done just that...

Probably because we’ve seen how powerful a tool misinformation has been in the US.
Developed country that’s paid a far higher price in lives than it should have.

Letting it run has been tried. Refer SIngapore. They scrapped all controls of spreading it and the experiment was a disaster.
They quickly reverted to masks, isolation etc.

If a government is prepared to shut down its economy then it’s fair to assume they have a bloody good reason. Ever considered that.
Your government is a pool of the greediest, grubbiest members of your society.
And yet they are prepared to throw away their popularity, their careers, prestige, power etc.
For what. I think is safe to assume s**t got real :)

Mickb mate the reality is a large part of the world is vaccinated.

China while some will say its 1st... it is mostly 3rd world is vaccinated
India is definitely 3rd world.
China gave its vaccines for free (while we were stockpiling ours) to a lot of countries in Africa and Asia.

And one thing that most 3rd world countries have is free or very very cheap labour due to unemployment. And unlike what they might have you believe you do not need qualified and highly paid nurses to vaccinate people.
When good men and women can’t speak the truth, when facts are inconvenient, when integrity and character no longer matter, when ego and self-preservation are more important than national security — then there is nothing left to stop the triumph of evil

Here's a random thought.
Imagine publicly announcing you've got monkeypox

If there was ever a disease created to cause maximum humiliation to a minority group, especially those who've yet to come out of the closest , this is it.

This is another lower primate disease, killing mainly men who get jiggy with other men, that's come out of Africa.

Sort of makes you wonder.......what's going on over there :unknown:

Mate having worked in humanitarian logistics and the 3rd world a number of years I can say the average1st worlder had no idea how the other 80% of the world works.

I agree China isnt 3rd world no.

As to the rest, and the large chunk of India that isnt metro( slum, subsistence, rural, tribal, hostile regions) it runs like this.

Vaccine saturation even to a small 3rd world dump takes years, and needs an army of workers and funding. The issue like with food relief is getting it where its needed. You have issues with geography, hostilities, populations not even knowing or caring what their government is saying, let alone listening to it, graft, corruption, the works.

The fact anything with value will be sequestered, hijacked, stolen and re sold all the way along the supply line, or if it isnt valued gets dumped at the side of the road, or left in a warehouse so higher margin stores like drugs, guns or food can be transported on a contractors truck.

Again its why you need planners, security elements, supply staff, medical staff, educational staff, then trade support and equipment( IE cold chain logistics and refrigerated assets, scraping together the trucks, spare parts, chillers all the way along the way). Then there is all the admin side to get it running aka diplomatic pressure, MOU- memorandums of understanding, EUC- end user certificates, MTA- military technical agreements and special permissions all along the chain, to most corners of the country to keep the local cheifs, bigwigs, corrupt cops, army commanders and warlords off your case, so the last guy in the chain some medic or volunteer makes sure it goes in some kids arm.

If you dont you end up with only some hitting the target group and the rest relabelled and sold as viagra 5 countries away or left in some derelict warehouse.

The workforce to pull off a real 100 country vaccine rollout this fast just doesnt exist, not even close. Nether do the funds.

Sorry if it seems like a conspiracy theory to those who think the 3rd world is a larger version of Redfern in Sydney and Channel 7 can cure the 3rd worlds backwardness with a news story, but some of us have been in this industry for decades.

People also forget the first wave of Covid hit pre-vaccine anyway. We saw what it could do in poor, malnourished, low immunity, black, asian, white( aka south, central america) DNA groups, locked down/unlocked and ultra density populations. We waited for the numbers and the answer was a few million when its kill rate should have taken down 60 million+ just in the first 12 months.

on_one_wheel: "I think the method of transmission will keep me safe from catching it."

I read a recent news article which quotes a bloke who caught Monkey Pox indirectly while playing cards with his infected mate. Apparently the disease was transmitted on the surface of the playing cards. So you don't have to bend over to pick up the soap to get it! Indirect infection is thus a serious issue for the majority of the population who don't play with soap in the showers. What a certain 'progressive' group does to/with each other in private is of no interest to me, but, if they become infected, then they can spread it to others who don't engage in high risk homosexual orgies with multiple 'partners' - as has been reported recently. MP is not considered to be a 'traditional' sexually transmitted disease like HIV according to medical specialists as it can be spread by other means than having direct sex with others.

It sounds like we should all be washing our hands - often.
