For me it was like a Mild flu I felt as if I was not full strength and I thought that if I were at work I would struggle to do a full day. When I started testing neg I went back to work but I noticed toward the end of the day I was more tired than usual. I call this post COVID lethargy. Pretty sure plenty of others had the same. But my PCL only lasted a week. Then the best thing ever happened. I now am full of energy. A new man I feel 10 yrs younger and don’t feel any tiredness after work like I did pre COVID. It’s like my body has been re booted for a fresh start . I guess I’m one of the lucky ones.

I noticed the same in SA
ONE small country town supermarket shut for deep cleaning.

Fancy that, all those people shopping and only one supermarket shut down.
Not a single bunnings, mitre 10, coles or Woolworths? Millions of people through the doors?

But one sniffle in a pizza bar, cafe or travel agent and BAM the doors were closed.

Best you wear a mask all the time and stay home and save lives. SFA have the 3rd or 4th shot, efficacy is SFA after a few months and people aren't wearing masks outside

Yup and the virus could tell when a computer game, an essential service apparently, was being sold by a multi-national like EB games and not by Mum and Dad's second hand business. Glad the top medicos got rid of those festering small businesses before more old folk were killed.

Porobably about as many that died in non locked down regions, countries and the majority of the population in the 3rd world. Most the 3rd world, which is 3/4 of humans in the planet had limited ability to lock down or distance. A couple billion people dont even have plumbing for a start which means you are leaving your house 3x a day to draw water at communal gatherings( also to eat at markets) whether you like or not. Unless you like dying of thirst in 72 hours.

Whole populations of malnourished people living on top of each other, going about business as normal in full transmission environments. And what do we get after covid goes through them pre vac? Not exactly the original projections of it being a 3% or even 1% killer. I think it did about the same as diabetes and diaorhea deaths..

Because the virus isn’t spread by person to person contact.
It’s transmitted by the 5G towers.
Third world countries don’t have 5G.

Or you could just fact check it. ooops.

Well I did say to people who had 1-2 jabs but decided they dont want jabs 3,4 to infinity you dont get to make that choice. No half measures or ''choices'' in ''the new normal.'' You are either pro-vac or antivac, the news said so. In fact I think Scomo said that himself.

So if you dont want jab no3,4,5, 6 etc you are with me and the other tin foil hat guys waiting for the alien motherships to land. No backing out now fellas. Just be sure to pack a lunch its a long trip to our 5g base on Mars :D

Dr. Birx, who along with Dr. Fauci, was one of the big cheeses in charge of all the medical response to Covid in the USA and both of whom supplied Trump with knowingly faulty information, she admitted in her recent book that they knew the vaccines were ineffective and wouldn't work, yet they pushed them anyways. A lot of studies to come out have shown this to be true, that the vaccines don't provide much protection.

In the end, people should do what they think is best. If the vaccines really work and you get them, then you shouldn't have to worry about anyone else, because, well, they work, right? I just look at data, whether it's making investment decisions, buying decisions, health decisions. I've yet to see data from anything the government has done in the past 2 years, lockdowns, masks, vaccines, that show a net benefit to any of it.

Why would you need government data to know viruses spread from person to person by close contact with an infectious person.

So you think person X lies to the Trumps, but is not lying when selling a book.

Now did she actually say that, or something more along the lines that the efficacy was not 100%. But still better then zero and hence she supported them.

But an even better question, did you even read the book, or just telling us what you heard an "internet expert" tell you in a video.

Did you not tell us that you have covid 4 times, and it wasn't a good experience and you were on the bed for a couple of weeks. I dunno but many people here are in their 50s or above, probably not the most fittest (like you) and i know i can't afford to take 2 weeks off spending in bed every 6 months.

I had a business plan. Being supermarket staff, who never stopped work, still had most of the population coming through the doors even pre-vac and apparently survived without statistically notable losses I am led to a few conclusions

1. They just got lucky :D

2. Covid was told by the chinese scientists who made it, hands off global retailers :D

3. Those little plastic shields they put up between them and customers have revolutionised disease protection and we now longer need those expensive PPV space suits, infectious disease wards, laboratories anymore.

My position is everyone with grey hair should have been out there saying "Dont lock down, we accept a certain % more risk, to both life and our finances, keep the economy open at all costs for our kids futures.

After all, grey haired people have no problem sending kids into warzones when the shoes is on the other foot.

Didnt have jad got covid didnt even know I had it. Just by chance I had to do a rat test. No ongoing effects. Before we stopped counting flu deaths over here ( gee I wonder why) it was killing approx 700 a year here. So far over a couple of years we have had approx 1400 odd covid linked deaths so yea pretty deadly alright. Funny how it coincides with the flu deaths that arent getting counted anymore should be more shouldnt it. I get really bad hayfever and Id rather have covid anyday...

February went down to holiday on a houseboat for a week in Walpole, traveling through a nice little town long ago I raced mountain bikes at called Northcliffe. Dropped into the local IGA for supplies.
Woman whom seemed to be in charge of the place called out my misz on not wearing a mask, so she pulls the Samsung out and provides an image of her exemption. Perplexed shop owner then demands a provision of ID.
Needles to say the groceries were abandoned on the counter as my misz shepherded me out the door before I could tear the place up lol.

Your flu deaths average around 500 a year.
In Victoria we have nearly 90% fully vaccinated population.
And currently we are averaging 43 covid deaths a week. Fully vaccinated deaths are exceptionally rare.
Obviously that’s a lot worse than any flu you’ve ever seen. And it’s climbing.
So you shouldn’t really down play it. When a decent wave goes through you will notice. Not so much the deaths, but health care system under stress and a lot of people getting ill.
Just one of those things like it happens somewhere else, you don’t really think about it happening in your parts.

It's difficult to filter the BS these days especially when you have lost trust in government.

My fiance has been scrolling Facebook, now she wants to start preparing for the upcoming worldwide famine, she's convinced Covid is just the common cold and the great reset coupled with unprecedented rapid climate change, in the absence of farming will see us humans become nomadic like a plague of locusts rushing from one place to the next devouring the land of all its plants and animals.

Anyhow, I'd better be off now, I need to continue stocking my bunker and get on with fat scoring all the locals so I can create a priority based meal plan.

Well most the 3rd world isnt vaccinated, despite what their governments claim. You need an army of UN workers just to roll out a vaccine in a single country because warlords, local officials right down to the guy driving the truck flogs it off for guns or food or relabels it viagra and resells it before the average guy gets it. And it still takes years even then.

The idea 130 country dumps rolled out a vaccine effectively requires belief in santa claus, the easter bunny, Captain marvel , an army of 2 million UN workers teleporting in from the moon and a 3rd grade grasp of basic math and world geography, (though a 4th grader would probably be okay)

if half starved folks of all races in climates and age groups living in close proximity and accessing live markets and communal water sources can go about business with covid so can I cheers. The biggest impact on 3/4 of the world was the supply hold ups for food and other vaccines. A lot of extra kids died during the height of the lockdowns, we are talking tens of thousands a day.

Luckily 7-8 black kids are worth throwing down the drain to enable one white guy a 20% more chance of making it from 80-85 and burning his own middle class to a crisp in the process. What a bargain for everyone.

I don’t have Facebook.
The only advice on it you should listen to is your doctor.
I just look at the info my local hospitals put out in my state. There’s no politics or agendas and we have the best of care available. It is what it is. Most people who kark from it are over 75. Who wants to live forever. Being 75 would suck anyway.
That’s not to say I don’t like to give advice. I do it all the time at work. Then I learn something from their mistakes and they get in trouble not me.
My advice if you get sick from it. Don’t push through. Take a rest. Take Panadol and buy some cough lollies. Don’t stress.
