I've had this box forever, it was my Grandfathers and he was born in 1889....anyone able to tell me anything about it?

Murex Vodex were welding rods, very good ones. my Brother-in Law still has a Murex stick welder that was his Fathers and must be 1940's or early 50's

Nice box, can't be many like that one floating around.
Here's my favourite 2 boxes, reasonably common given the massive volume of explosives used on farms, building roads, rail and mining in my region.
