Bambi.
CURRY BEEF / VENISON / LAMB
SLOW COOK 4 TO 4.5 Hrs
1 kg Meat cut into small chunks
2 medium onions chopped
1 can 400 gr tomatoes
1 beef cube or 1 teaspoon beef gravy.
4 teaspoons crushed garlic
2 teaspoons crushed ginger
2 teaspoons of curry powder or 200gr curry paste
1 - 2teaspoon cumin
1 cup raisins or sultanas
OPTIONAL
1 cup chopped mushrooms
1 cup chopped celery
1 chopped potato
1 carrot

That looks the goods.

Not ne but Jessica cooked up some foraged mushrooms for her dinner tonight. No idea on the recipe

Roast leg of goat with vegies the other day. Brined 48hrs in 2% solution (which was a little too long I think) and it came up a treat, super moist and tender and you wouldn't know it was a game animal rather than some farm raised softy lamb. I hate brussel sprouts cooked the 'old way' i.e. steamed with white sauce so as the good half loves them I thought I'd try roasting a few halved with a drizzle of olive oil, salt, pepper and lemon juice. They were superb, think I'm on the sprout wagon now :wtf:
