Replicates the feel of an M16 rifle for weight training apparently :-)

I recall a story about Australian soldiers carrying 2x4s to practice carrying ARs in their own time. Maybe this fills that niche?

I'm sure it's useful for bushwalking as a stand-in for the weight and bulk of a rifle, but I suspect illegal in at least NSW and WA.
I'm doing long bush walks currently with my daughter and this would be magic where I don't want to be carrying a rifle.
At $400 it seems a bit over the top, but I might have to make some similar :-)

I'm sure they'd claim it looks too much like a firearm and would be required to be registered....
