Shooting in Adelaide

I wonder if the firearm was licensed, I'm sure the media will attempt to put a spin on it at some point regardless...

They always blame the people that didn't do it.

More bad news, must be a day ending in Y. Hopefully the surviving victim recovers all right.

It'll be bent and twisted to suit the narrative ofc, 'guns bad and evil' is a given. Same never seems to apply to say, hammers, or bits of 2x4, etc.

I'll go out on a limb and drop 2c on a 'mental health issues' defense. That should be 5c now I guess, possibly 10. Bloody inflation.

Also noted that aussie punctuation is very strong with that acting AC; 'ahhh' or 'errr' was almost every other word in places. You can hear the sand in the gears while watching the wheels turn.
It's hard for me to act my age, I've never been this old before.

I suspect they were,, the initial press statement and subsequent reports said Police are searching for "a number of firearms" and the only way they would know that is if they already knew he had multiple guns, which strongly suggests registered guns. Seems like another self-entitled git who thinks the females in his life are his personal property to deal with and can't stand that they may not want to be around him so he shot them. Charged with murder of the older woman and attempted murder of the 22yo.

Yep agree. All were related. I’m reading attempting to flee domestic violence. Women most likely to get killed when they try to leave. So you have a weak cowardly man who they eventually stood up to and called his bluff.
Mental health issues as a defence has to be rather severe issues, in as not capable of knowing what he was doing, and he wouldn’t be licensed. Plus that would get him institutionalised probably forever. Prison would be more favourable.
I dream of a world where chickens can cross the road without having their motives questioned
