Lithgow SMLE rifle stock markings

Hi all,
I have recently purchased a Lithgow SMLE service rifle and trying to find out what the markings on the stock are.
Mainly confused with 4 over serial # and the small stamps, not sure if its a "G/46" or "6/46". To me 6/46 would make more sense as it's probably when the rifle was sent back to Lithgow to be serviced and sold to public.

Any info would be really appreciated.
