Amazeing prize. 95 litres is huge. Separate compartments I like the idea. The only two compartment fridge/ freezer I had died years ago and the freezer compartment was too small. I’m tempted but I’m getting by with my 65 litre. It’s fine for my 3 day trips with two people or my week trips solo.

I wouldn’t be able to lift a 95 full of food and drinks on and off the Ute solo. But lately I’m leaving it on the Ute more often and relying on the dual battery to do its job. Doesn’t take more than a little driving every couple of days to top up the battery

Yeh definitely too big for me. I have a 40ltr and get by with that. If empty easy to carry too.

But if you need a big one this is it!

Looks like today I’m suffering from poor impulse control. I know this because I now have one of those fridges on my roof rack

Its a big fridge. The roof rack might be the only place it will fit.

The fridge freezer ratio is 60/40 and if I have read the book correctly I think u can choose which side you want coldest to suit individual requirements that's a bloody good idea

apology accepted. It’s a lightweight unit but that’s not what it will feel like full . And handles so far apart puts even more strain on the body. My trailer is new and quite a sturdy off road model so I’m not too concerned about adding to the weight on the draw bar. I’ll prob put the fridge there in a custom mount on top of the gen set . And I already have a 12 volt outlet just above my number plate so that will b perfect. Jaycar sell a 30 dollar fitting that has a jack plug into the fridge and Anderson plug on the other end. I will buy that seeing as the fridge has a built in solar controller . Normally when I run my fridges off solar I connect the 12 volt plug to a large battery that’s charged by the panels. Pete I think you should shout yourself a Christmas present

I have the king 60l fridge freezer in the back of the 4wd it hasn't been turned off since last november it hasnt missed a beat i wanted to get the 90l version however it wouldn't fit in the current setup that i have. But honestly wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

Update. Testing at home Freezers water bottles rock solid. I’m goin to buy a thermometer to keep an eye on the stated temperature on the fridge vs what it can reslly do. Avail at Woolworths. For only ten bucks

Yep, I did that with mine. It's about 1c out of wack.
I found it didn't perform well first few days. But went like a rocket after about 5 days use. Just needed a workout I guess.
