How many can you

Post by womble » 13 Jan 2024, 3:39 am

Just another routine silly question from moi.

How many guns can you fit in a five gun safe. Personal records.

Who will set the record.

Will they win a prize.

I say yes. Contact admin to claim your choice of gold bullion or a trip to let’s say New Caledonia. Sounds nice .

Well yes it does, so get your entries in. No cheating. No big safes, 5 gun safe or less only.

My submission, I’ve managed eight, forcing the door shut. Can you beat that.

I have a five-rifle safe that I put in the car when travelling. Milsurps I reckon I might get ten in there, scoped hunting rifles though I reckon three is a stretch. Could probably fit a break-action gun in there too, they fit in little gaps when broken down.

Seeing as you said 'gun' and not 'rifle' then I have seen about 30 handguns in a small gun safe.

I don't posses such a tiny safe, so by the rules posted I can't compete but I do have a 14 gun safe with 33 in it which is 235% of capacity, making your 5 gun safe need 11 to compete with me.

Yeah naah, competition rules section 76, article 245 clearly stipulates long guns sorry. Contact admin for a copy.

Cheating and therefore disqualified . 20 pushups, better luck next time.

Ok. The judges need to do their maths to collaborate this. Don’t despair yet, still in the running.

I got 5 in a 3

I had to pull them apart though.

Infringement?

I actually downsized to three guns late last year. Seriously that’s it, I’m done, that’s all I need.
Unfortunately late last year was the worst possible time to sell guns because everyone is broke. And a really good time to buy guns because people were selling stuff they wouldn’t ever put up for sale. So now I have 6 guns.
I think.

No prizes my way.
I've got a Spika 12 gun safe.
It's chock-full with 8 firearms only 2 of which are bagged, the others have socks on.

The judges outsourced their maths to the wife and we, they think that’s over 200% capacity.
Certainly raises the stakes and sets the bar high.
This is getting intense.

Correct, loser.
20 pushups.

So, here we go yet again,,,,,,,, you really need to get a job that demands "input" that might prevent frivolous posts.
However,,,,,,,,, I'll placate your desire by saying any simpleton being faced with such a "challenge" would at the outset,,,, dismantle said longarms,, and stack them in,,,, and thereby exceed your supposed maximum many, many times..
You laid down the rules at the beginning, so it would be unethical to now start shifting the goal posts.
