No, 1st time in my life I was unable to attend due to side effects of my Chemotherapy. Couldn't even get out of bed for the dawn. Hope to be alright come Armistice as Chemo finishes in July prior to surgery.

Rose and I took a wreath out to the monument at the cemetery last night as we couldn't attend this morning.
But I've been wearing WW1 uniform all day today, mainly doing welding in the shed.

Too bad
I hope it all goes well for you.

Wife and I attended the local service.

Couldnt make it to a dawn service, so we held our own on the bank of the house dam...

The cloud and trees on the horizon kinda make it look like he's holding vigil overlooking a beach somewhere..

We had a visit by an emu while we were setting up, and we thought of stealing a feather for our soldiers' hat, but the emu apparently heard the discussion, and legged it at speed...Sigh.

Made ANZAC biccys after lunch; hard as freaking concrete, but taste good..
[Turns out they were too long in a too hot oven..]
From what I read, I might have made something closer to the original hard tack version that was first produced for the troops..
2 aunts have since forwarded me better recipes that I'll try in the next few days..
