Completely New Topic needed. ??? MODS

Post by Die Judicii » 08 Aug 2024, 11:15 pm

Hey Mods,,,,,,,, I'm thinking its well overdue for a completely NEW and SPECIFIC topic heading specifically for THERMAL hunting.

What say you ?
I do not fear death itself... Only its inopportune timing!
And,,,,It's been proven,,,,, the most loving, loyal, and trustworthy females in my entire life were all canines.
Whilst in most cases ignorance should be excused,,,,,,, stupididty simply cannot.

The only thing that needs saying is InfiRay RH50R V2. Image that is like daylight with a detection range of 2600 metres, laser range finder to 1200 metres, ballistic solution to whatever range you feel comfortable with in any five cartridges you own. Comes with 2 batteries and the best QD mount on the market that is at home on any bolt gun or M4 look alike. Only thermal i have owned that is actually useable from its base 3x through to 24x due to some remarkable software that smooths out the pixelation to give a clear image. I thought my Pulsars were good right up till i got one of these. Not even close.

Since buying my first clip on I have become aware that I can do better by making my own custom adaptors to ensure the unit is held rock solid onto my scope and to ensure it is presented to my day scope exactly the same every time I take it on and off. So tomorrow I pick up the 35 mm tap I ordered and then it’s time to grab the verniers and jump on the lathe .. useing ally and brass. I may even paint it black. I’m telling all my customers to wait until I return. I plan on haveing roughly 3 weeks off in September. I have new toys to trial. Life is too short

Their battery system lost me -- I like generic batteries.
Still enjoy using my IAIMING 612 - it is great for properties i have known land marks onto check approx distances, but its time I buy a new Thermal scope with lrf.
