Yeah. Not to mention he got shot in the head.
I don't understand why people hate him. He says bad words and he is boorish, rude and crass. Who cares. Judge him on his performance not his demeanour. Trump says the quiet part out loud where other politicians lie behind your back which is a breath of fresh air.
I am yet to hear an argument besides “orange man bad” that makes sense.

Donald Trump is standing up for peoples basic human right to be left alone.

Republicans have not officially captured the house but it would appear based on projections from Decision Desk HQ, they will have 222 seats which is more than last time and gives them the majority. Republicans have the Senate but there are still some races to decide.
I think we will see several conservative Supreme Court justices take advantage of the situation and decide to retire.
Trump has some big plans to gut and reform federal government which is badly needed. One of things he started to do was decentralize federal government in his last term. He moved the Bureau of Land Management to Denver for instance. He wants to get other agencies out to other states and cities so Washington DC is not such a bloated swamp of bureaucrats. There is a lot of work to do.

Obama was not the creator of the woke mind virus but he helped create the modern version of it.
I think people put up with it for a while but it's become so insufferable and obnoxious, regular folks are in revolt.
Democrats failed to read the tea leaves and see that for regular people that stuff wasn't adding value to their life and if anything was taking away from quality of life.
What I notice with younger folks under 25 talking with a lot of them is they are more conservative and want to distance themselves from the wacky millennials with all their wacky identity politics. It reminds me of growing up as Gen X and my fellow high school students being conservative and rejecting and laughing at the hippy baby boomers. Trump took the under 25 vote, BTW.
I think we are entering a more conservative era and being a multi dimensional neo zoom dweebie disabled trans lesbian intersectional cherokee indian black woman will no longer be the thing to do. Maybe we will get back to the way it was in the 1980s were you were just American.
As one can see from the graph below, ic's, ism's and phobias were not a thing until Obama came along. Society from the 1970s to 2000s was stable.

on_one_wheel wrote:One of Trump's first comments during his victory speech was "we've got lots and lots of oil"
I recall that Biden cut production, I also recall that rising fuel costs made pretty much everything more expensive. (yes war in Ukraine didn't help with fuel costs)
My prediction
Trump will push for maximum oil production, we'll see a steady decline in fuel prices followed by a reduction in transport costs and so on.

It's not really about percentages it more about the Electoral college for the POTUS race, then you want to pick up the Senate and House (congress) to pass any meaningful legislation. The Popular vote is irrelevant although is a good litmus test to overall popularity.
Trump is likely to hit a home run on everything hence the title of the thread.
-Electoral College 226 to 301 (He'll pick up the final 11 in AZ once called) so 312 total.
-Trump won the pupular Vote - 74million to 70million.
-Won all the 7 swing states (PA, NC, GA, NV, MI, WI will win AZ), flipping all except NC which was already Red.
-Won the Senate majority
-Will likely win the House majority.
