Have you seen the latest 277 Fury military rifle in the USA that uses the hugely expensive AI-powered Vortex LVPO on it?
It's supposed to automatically range and adjust the POI wherever the pleb soldier points it.
It's already stuffing up, batteries in it don't last a few day's exercise and it stops working. Typical.
Where a simple reflex site works for 50,000hrs or more, and doesn't need elevation/windage adjustment because the distances you shoot at don't need it.
Marketing in action.

no i hadn't seen that mate . i find the smash anti drone scope very interesting . this tech is in it's infancy . it will continue to be developed . took a long time but lasers as effective military weapons are becoming reality . this sort of tech is developing exponentially . scares me to think what they'll have in another 10 years

Everything has always got to be overly complicated from what this bloke sees.
Train the soldiers to use those Benelli M4's, bung in the right choke and blow the spindly f**kers out of the air. Too hard? Too simple?

Like that M7 /Vortex joke, the clowns signing off on this fantasy stuff must be spawn from current political types.
Hey, it's a forum, we all have opinions. Like dates.
