Forget about getting shot, sizing dies are the real danger

Post by Chickenhawk » 28 Oct 2013, 5:10 pm

So I feel like a total boob for admitting this, but you've gotta be able to laugh at yourself, right?

My press is set up on a desk at 'regular desk height'. While doing something completely unrelated I left over the desk and manage to lean down and impale myself on the rod of my sizing die

Put a nice little hole in myself.

So yeah, no worries about getting shot. Reloading dies are a real danger though

Ha ha.

That's some war story.

"Oh that hole? Yes it happened due to shooting"

"Oh my god you got shot?"

"Sorry no time to explain, have to go..."

Keep this to yourself, or they'll start licensing reloading dies
