How does he think professionals learn't to handle firearms and weaponry - they were all amateurs at one stage!

On ABC2 as I would expect as is standard procedure, they are all labeled "INERT".
Untrained are never allowed to handle live ammo/explosives.

Quite humorous watching old mate in the background juggling what looked to be a smoke grenade. I'm more curious about who the politicians are that like to buy guns that the P.M commented about. I'm sure there are pollies who share our interest but too afraid to standup and be recognised for fear of political backlash by the anti's. If we want to talk shooting at work we have to find a quiet corner where we can't be overheard so some politically correct fear mongering a-holes don't sic HR onto us. Boys talking golf or football are fine but if firearms then lookout :(

Fortunately, few people here shoot or really keen on it... Definitely makes for a good conversation when everyone else does this 'second take try to listen in', did he really just say he shoots, lol. HR has nothing, it's my legal right. Funny though, being in the city and all.

Funny, isn't it!?
Although football (of various codes) does more to promote a culture of casual violence and aggression than just about anything in our culture. You wouldn't see too many half time punch-ons at the local shooting comp; or allegations of gang rapes after away games; or a bunch of f-class team members punching the b-jesous outta some poor guy in a pub.......

Perhaps you could have your own pre-emptive chat to HR about bullying and alienation in the work place. Tell them how you and a small minority are made to feel discomfort, disdain and alieneation for discussing a perfectly legal, legitimate and non-violent sporting activity.

Maybe its just my tiny screen but i didn't see any inert/ non servicable stickers on what looks like live firearms and unexploaded ordinance, id assume you'd need some form of explosives? License to handle that gear without being a member of the adf
