It's a bit disappointing to see female shooters so underrepresented here. I would have ball-parked female shooters as a much larger part of the overall community - perhaps just less likely to lurk forums!

Yep... shooting forums tend to be 'boys club' type of environments.

Could have said shooting clubs also

I'd say that percentage fairly represents the number of independent women in shooting, that is not involved in shooting directly because it's what their partner does.

There are two ladies where i go. Out of about 14 total shooters (small country range), that's not bad. Both have started this season and are married to blokes already in the club.

Seems every second bloke around here has a FA licence but very few interested in club/target shooting. All pest control & hunting.

fastest growing group of shooters here are ladies thanks to conceal carry.
but on the plus side you have a good number of younger shooters you need the young

If thats all his problems are he wouldn't need to come a dodgy cover like being Tasmanian.

I'm actually a Queenslander on the inside.

So I'd be a 50 year old transgender tack driving banana from the nanny state of Queensland.

And that's just the first head!

Not that it would change the numbers enormously but I guess it's worth nothing that these figures are what Google believe to be correct, and are sourced from visitors to this website only.

If one did a head count, actual numbers at ranges on any given day would be slightly more encouraging I expect.
