Title_II wrote:I drew pictures of Airforce and Army shooting line bullets at people and vehicles in art class. Even Navy got in the act once in a while. This was in the 70s and they actually still got weirded out at one point and called my parents.
That was before I was regularly into guns, but as I said I first shot when I was 4.

Yea more than likely even back then only 10-15yr ago the diagnosis from my teachers was he's a boy get used to it. Now I'd be suspended and put on Ritalin or whatever they use in Aus.

It seems so different now, I was always told gee that's really creative ?. Later years of school one of my classes was Shooting, we had about 30 school owned shot guns kept on site and no one would even bat an eyelid at kids arriving on the bus with their own for clay target shooting class... Wouldn't see anything like that these days I'd expect.. And lets not forget the, occasional trip out for some bunnies with the ferrets if we did well (then we would have crumbed rabbit nuggets the next day)... aggggh yum... Oh and I didn't go to some flashy school either, it was a Public School...
Now according to my brother in-laws kids, they don't even have winners and losers in a game of whatever, its first and second etc.. and everyone wins ? or something like that ? I think.
