Police stop with guns

Post by Title_II » 25 Mar 2016, 6:47 pm

A cop pulled me over last week. He asked me if I had any guns in the car. I told him I had a Glock on my left hip.

He said, "OK, don't show me yours and I won't show you mine. Anything else?"

I said, "there is a .38 in the glove box and..."

"And what?"

"I have a 12 gauge in the back seat and an AR-15 in the trunk."

The cop asked me, "Sir, if you don't mind me asking, what are you afraid of?"

I responded, "Not a damn thing!"

:)

This is not a new joke but not sure if you guys heard it before.

Typical yankees. I shouldn't even be surprised.

most LEOs are alright. I haven't been stopped in CO. but I was stopped once outside Anchorage when I was there visiting my family's plot for hunting. I was carrying a .38 in an IWB holster and had an 870 pump and AR in the cab of my chevy pickup. I handed over my CO chl and told him I had firearms in my possession. Dude was cool about it and said to remain in the cabin. checked my details and gave it back to me. we talked about what we owned and the good hunting places around. I have a pretty tricked out AR so he asked me whether he could see it. I showed it to him hahaha and we talked more until dispatch radioed and he left. Alaska Cops are so cool.

He pulled me over for a non functioning tail light.

Alaska state police are serious business. And, if nobody told you, don't screw around with their fish and game laws up there. They'll throw you in jail and take your car.

It's been a while, but I have found Colorado cops to be good guys. They'd rather help a woman change a tire than give a guy a ticket.

Here the joke goes:

A cop pulled me over last week.

He asked me if I had any guns in the car.

I told him I had a Glock on my left hip.

My face hurts from where I was handcuffed on the tarmac.

Permanently or just impound it for a bit?
Dear Santa,
Please bring me a Desert Tactical Arms SRS-A1 Rifle in .338 Lapua Magnum.
I'll be good with it, I promise!

I don't know, it's been quite a while. I just got that warning a couple times.
