Going tomorrow... Thinking, do I need a .303? I think I do :unknown: yeah...

If I was in the area I would go.

if you're going there juststarting, check out the P14s and M17s. A P14 would make a better .303 than a Lee Enfield if you can afford it.

I wish I could genesis, school holidays just started. I'll be busy mucking around in state forests and warrens for a lot of the break, but it would be so nice to go see the militaria display, and even meet some of you guys.

I'll be there, have to pay the organizer for an M17 I got off him last week. Also want to see Roger M of Lock, Stock about some .43 Egyptian dies.

Just got back, bought myself a nice savage no. 4 mk 1. Stock has a few dings but the action and barrel are mint. Will pick it up mid week. I will give it a tidy up and post some pics

Far be it from me to EVER talk a mate out of a gun (unless it is a complete POS).

Hope you got one.

Quite possibly, too tiny for me to see on my phone , but they had about a dozen or so cadets there in various condition.
Overall the show was pretty good. Probably not as many milsurps rifles there as I would have liked. A few rifles not correctly identified, mainly mausers labeled as k98's . A couple I pointed out, benefit of the doubt it was an honest mistake. Would hate to think it was done on purpose to cash in on unwary punters . Overall, worth the $15 entry and always good to walk around and look at interesting stuff.

No, chickened out, got some reloading stuff, maybe next year, probably sooner. Need to do a bit of reading on models and what I want first...

How often do you guys have these shows in Vic? Seems like a lot.
