Present from me to me

Post by juststarting » 23 Dec 2016, 9:23 am

Finally decided to pull the metaphorical trigger and buy a muzzle break for my .308 T3 CTR, because, well, because I wanted to...

Terminator TT - now just waiting for it with anticipation :D

You're so thoughtful thinking of yourself like that. And exactly what you wanted , who knew?

Now you can joyfully annoy the piss out of your range neighbours :)

I've noticed as I get older, the only way to get a decent present is to buy it yourself.

You say annoy, I say exfoliation for men!

Give them cupcakes and they'll forgive you :)

Speaking of annoying people at the range, my local range has recently re-opened. I need to find out the days and times it's open and whether I can take my 458

Somehow, I am not concerned about winning a popularity contest at the range :) I paid to be there like everyone else. Beisides there's a muzzle break section there anyway.

Laughing mate, you can deafen each other to your hearts content :D I don't fine them a problem to shoot but shooting beside em can be somewhat annoying with the Muzzle Blast (depending on cal) 50's can be somewhat ordinary to be around and I'd hate to be near one if it's under a tin roof type situation

Anyway enjoy the Prezzie mate - should tame the 308 and turn it into a 223 I would think with a decent MB.

I always try to get a bench up near the office at little river. Well away from the muzzle brake section. Even better when I can get a bench next to the guys plinking with only a .22

First time I let one go at the range 36 blokes turned up behind me and said WTF is that.7mm rem mag I answered. They were all using 7.62 full bore but the 7mm Rem must have a sound all of its own.I dont really notice as the shooter. The other F class guy was running a 6mm rem and doing good

If you're into exfoliation, then hair removal is probably dear to your heart as well.

This product is great https://www.amazon.com/Veet-Hair-Removal-Creme-200ml/dp/B000KKNQBK/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1482543637&sr=8-1&keywords=veet+for+men

Read the reviews for more info.

I gave up worrying about the person next to me at the range, ffs it's a place with loud noises. I've had people several bays away leave, then complain about the noise on the way out and I was only using a pistol !!!

Yeah, I have a pretty simple approach. Be polite, be nice, if someone is eyeing off a rifle - offer them a couple of shots. Beyond that, to anyone who forgets that they are at a public shooting range it's the 0-f policy all the way.

Someone should of told them that bleeding ears go great in a range rover!

Who in hell complains about noise at a big bore range?

Seriously? They're called boom sticks for a reason. If I heard a boom louder than I could make you could be damned sure I'd want a go
