New member sayin

Post by Medic » 22 May 2016, 11:06 pm

Hi all,
New member from Brisbane saying hi. Total shooting novice, got all my license squats away and heading out tomorrow to look T some rifles and. A shotgun for my first purchase and do my PTAs. Was a long process but I feel well worth it.

I love enduro riding and hope to go camping and hunting with some friends. I have significant machining experience just none with guns, and some nice lathes (and hopefully soon a nice VMC) and other equipment at home I feel I can use to learn some new skills.
Thanks for having me!

G'Day, another Sydneysider.

Post by scoutinabout » 30 May 2016, 8:21 am

Hi all.
I've often visited this site from time to time if a Google search leads me to someone's posts. I decided to join up.
About myself, I'm married with 4 youngsters, I try to get away when I can, if only a day trip to a state forest to look around. I like to read others' success stories in them. I've often read threads as a guest, where I could offer some input and now I'm able to contribute.
Cheers scoutinabout.

Saying hello

Post by JakeThePeg » 24 Jun 2016, 5:44 am

Good morning all.

From NSW, 26yo

I do a lot of pig and fox hunting as well as busting clays.

Recently aquired a 300win mag and will be trawling the forum for tips and tricks on long distance shooting.

Looking forward to learn from everyone, and hopefully pass on some knowledge.

Cheers

Welcome aboard young fella, good to see a fellow New South Welshman signing up. I was getting worried this forum was being over run by the Banana benders to the north and the Mexicans in the south. There's a great depth of knowledge to be gleaned here so feel free to jump in and contribute.
