Question.
I cant find the optoin that allows you to autosubscribe to posts when you reply to them.
Does such an option exist. I went all through the settings and couldn't find it.

Yeah there is, it doesn't show on the 'quick reply' section though.

When you post your own topics it's there, or if you're going to reply to a topic click the 'full editor' link.

At the bottom of posting a topic or replying with the full editor there is an option "Notify me when a reply is posted" that you can tick.

You can do that too. Go to:

my account > board preferences > edit posting defaults > Notify me upon replies by default

Turn that to 'yes' and hit submit, and you're automatically subscribed to all topics you post in.

I see you've got a pair of AI bipods?

How do you find them... I've been considering giving one a go...

AI style. Chinese knockoffs. Hate them haha they are too loose. Looking at alternatives ATM. Probably go back to Harris. Buy 1 good but expensive bipod and just swap between rifles.

We did test having that as the default for a little while but more people were unsubscribing than were keeping the default alerts on.

If they are real I think I'll let them eat me so I don't have to live through an apocalypse of people saying "I told you so!"

Another new member

Post by pawnsurfer » 15 Oct 2013, 8:01 am

Hi all,

Another member moved over from the other forum, kept the same username, I'm sure some of you will recognise it.

Looking forward to sporadic chats on all things firearms interspersed with long periods of silence while I travel for work. ;)

Are there any major differences between this forum and the other? I don't want to piss anyone off with an early political blunder.

Also, are other users keeping their old names? I'm not seeing many I recognise.

Cheers,

Welcome mate,

There's been a bit of an influx of members lately. New names seem to be the trend though.

The difference is we won't be tolerating the crap that goes on at other forums. ;)

If you're here for a few friendly conversations about shooting then welcome aboard.
See you on the firing line.

"Old" New member

Post by Die Judicii » 28 Oct 2013, 2:17 am

Hello to all members,
I have just joined this forum, and now have to familiarize myself with its workings.
I am looking forward to being able to contribute, as well as call upon other members
from time to time for information and advice.
I have missed being able to do this since the untimely demise of another forum, which
I think was due to sheer bloody mindedness that penalized the vast majority that were
doing the right thing.
However, we have to move on, and start making new tracks.
So I'm looking forward to participating and maybe even making some new friends. :D
I do not fear death itself... Only its inopportune timing!
