I've recently been approved for my licence, just have to get to rms to get it printed. I used to shoot regularly, learning on a clapped out old air rifle that could barely penetrate a cardboard box, graduated to shotguns and 22 rimfire, occasionally going out shooting (rabbits, foxes, pulped wood products) with my father.

Haven't picked up a rifle in almost 20 years, so back to the beginning for me! I'll likely mostly lurk on the boards, add i usually do with my other hobbies...

Everytime a licence is issued, a Green's party member stacks their fixie.

That sounds about right ;) part of the reason for my getting a licence again is because of a caterwauling feral.

I will post sometimes, but i can't guarantee anything regular.

G'day guys!

I'm a newbie here and well to everything shooting/hunting. Just brought myself a Baikal Toz17 .22 Rifle. Just waiting on my first permit to clear. Been watching heaps of videos and reading heaps about fox hunting. I'm from Alexandra down in Victoria :)

Hey all,
just want to say g'day after cruising around some of the different threads. Love my Aussie made gear, Sportco's, Lithgows and Naugton's although I'm currently on the lookout for a Sako Black Bear. Looking forward to some interesting threads and asking a question or two from time to time. Cheers..

Have moved here since the closing of another shooting forum. Look forward to chatting you all!

I love cars, drumming, zombie culture, loud music and other things but as far as shooting goes, I'm mainly a paper puncher with a .22LR and .223.

Want to get out hunting soon but I am extremely time poor!

Might see you around Belmont if you are in the area.

Cheers,

Hi All!

Just finally getting into shooting for the first time, did cadets and fired .22LR, Will be primarily focusing on IPSC but will hopefully get hunting soon!

Actually what pushed me to finally apply was interest from the missus in IPSC and decided we should both take up the sport.

Currently awaiting our Permission To Train (SA waiting times).

Made the mistake of only applying for H class, local club let me know they do shotgun and rifle, now waiting till we've got the H class before getting the variation for A &B
Firearm-less LAFO!

Hi,
I have been enjoying reading the forum for a few years and i thought I had better join up and say hi.
A little about me.

I have been shooting all of my life and have been reloading for about 24 years. Up until now i have been a lever lover but in the last few months i have managed to get hold of a few bolts from my LGS gun safe cleanout.

I'm no longer into hunting but enjoy sending lead down range.

The pride of my collection is a Winchester 1892 44-40 lever action (made in 1906) that was owned by my father that i had to do some resto work to. It's still a tack driver (well up to 75M anyway) no original bluing left and the outside it a little pitted but there is no way i would ever externally restore it.

I look forward to catching up with you all
