Hey everyone, just signed up as I'm chasing some information and haven't been involved in any type of hunting or shooting for over a decade now, back when I had property access and plenty of disposable income.

G'day All
I have recently returned to the hunting and shooting scene after an absence of about 7 years. Foolishly I sold everything and handed in my license and have just gone through the process of licensing. What a headache, but that's another story.
I started reading this forum and find there are a lot of contributors with an exceptional level of knowledge. Looking forward to reading more.

Thanks.

Hey All,

New member here (and returning shooter from the pre 96 days).
I do most of my shooting at the Little River range, and looking to extend into a bit of state forest varminting now the weather is decent.
My current arsenal consists of a Tikka t3x tac a1 in 6.5, a browning BLR pistol grip in 308, and a Lithgow la101.

The tikka is nearly too good for Little River's (only) 500m range.
The browning kicks like a mule - more than most 300wm bolts I've had.
The Lithgow is a cracker. Currently running a red dot, but went a bit nuts at the xmas sales, so scopes are on the way.

I've completed my spec for the Warwick WFA1, so just doing the 6 week production wait for it now.

Looking forward to talking all things guns, and contributing where I can.
Cheers

First order of business, to address the sickness and get you on the path of better tomorrow, is for you to get the 4th one :) Genuine need: the other 3 don't have sling in the right colour and width.

Welcome, Lumbajak.

223 & 308 are both great choices. But from what I've heard forget the Adler.

OB, yep, definitely. I am certain there are fantastic lever action shotguns out there. Adler is just not that shotgun. I do like Adler, but only because I don't give a slightest of the tiniest little s**ts about it. If it's messed up, meh, don't care. So it's perfect for shooting slugs through it (or like lollies or tampon rofl. A tampon slug! I need to make one). I do have O/U, but I wouldn't feel right abusing it.

Welcome, Lumbajak.

I like that genuine need. Qld WLB took the fun out of it with PTAs now, need is just a drop down list on the online PTA form. Must have got sick of the smart arse answers people were giving.

Hi,

New to shooting, have been browsing the forums a bit lately and decided to take the plunge.

Have a CZ452 22lr and a Tikka T3 Lite in 223.

Have started the reloading saga and really enjoying it.

Going to do pistol course in a couple of weeks.

Some great info here on this forum!
