OB, yep, definitely. I am certain there are fantastic lever action shotguns out there. Adler is just not that shotgun. I do like Adler, but only because I don't give a slightest of the tiniest little s**ts about it. If it's messed up, meh, don't care. So it's perfect for shooting slugs through it (or like lollies or tampon rofl. A tampon slug! I need to make one). I do have O/U, but I wouldn't feel right abusing it.

Welcome, Lumbajak.

I like that genuine need. Qld WLB took the fun out of it with PTAs now, need is just a drop down list on the online PTA form. Must have got sick of the smart arse answers people were giving.

Hi,

New to shooting, have been browsing the forums a bit lately and decided to take the plunge.

Have a CZ452 22lr and a Tikka T3 Lite in 223.

Have started the reloading saga and really enjoying it.

Going to do pistol course in a couple of weeks.

Some great info here on this forum!

Hey guys and gals been lurking awhile but thought I should say hello.

Been approved for an A/B licence in Vic waiting on my amended payment form to arrive as I moved house along with my PTA. Have brought and installed a Spika S2 (8 gun) over last weekend.

Planning on getting the below

Savage .22lr package with the bushnell scope will be used for bunny, fox (short range) and probably some light target shooting at springvale.

Tikka T3X with a decent scope tbc either in .308 or 30-06, still in the fence atm leaning toward the 30-06 so I have more ammo options. Not sure what model T3X ill go for yet.

Will be using it for goat, pig and deer at this stage

Planning on hunting on Public/Crown land, I also have access to a friends property near mount Macedon and another one down by Trarolgon. So will see what I can find

My partners family have farms also and property up near the Murray river. So Im welcome to do some pest control on them as well

I will be aiming to get meat for the freezer as well

Might look at getting a .223 later on for foxes and probably a shot gun to round out the collection.

Always keen to learn more and have a chat. I have been into Armory and Ammunition so far and they are a good bunch of blokes in there.

Never hunted in Australia as Im from NZ orginally so any tips are appricated :)

I am near Yass if anyone was interested. :)
