Perils of the K31

Mate of mine came over tonight. Like me , he has an interest in Milsurp firearms. I usually show him any new purchases and I pulled my recently acquired K31 out of the safe. Gave him a brief history and explained how the straight pull action works.

I dropped the mag ,so the bolt could cycle freely without the follower in the way. He then proceeded to shoulder the rifle and work the bolt. Was going well until....

Did he dong himself in the face with the safety ring? :lol: the swiss probably intended for the rifle to be taken down off the shoulder
