WA Storage Statement - Statutory Declaration

Post by N.Field » 07 Nov 2023, 11:00 am

I have an application for an additional Cat H firearm in progress and have been asked to provide a storage statement which among other things asks about the capacity for "long arms" and "handguns". I'm currently using a six rifle capacity Buffalo River safe for three rifles and one handgun. The handgun sits in the safe, cased, beside the rifles.

My question is: Is this legal or am I supposed to have a dedicated handgun safe separate from the one currently used?

Yes, that's legal as they can all be together.
