C-More M26 Western Australia

Post by DecaHex » 04 Feb 2025, 12:15 am

Good evening, with regards to the C-More M26 Shotgun which WAPol a couple years stated as a banned firearm in WA, now that they seemed to have changed their tune on appearance laws somewhat and are allowing rifles like the Oceania SP-15 and Wedgetail MPR308s into WA, is there a chance the C-More M26 might now be licensable in WA?

mate, i wouldn't make any bets on what WA licensing are going to do or allow in the immediate future. i'd wait until the election has passed to see who's in power and see if things stabilize regarding gun laws.

What's your interpretation of the new Act and Regs re: your question? Not really keen on holding someone's hand when the information is there clear as day

If it's one of these then no way they are prohibited.

"a firearm, commonly known as a rapid-release action firearm, which automatically ejects a spent cartridge after firing and has a button, lever or similar mechanism to reload the firearm with a new cartridge"

Otherwise surely contacting a WA dealer who specializes in shotguns will be able to answer your question,
