How long are the licence,s for ? and how much for a Permit To Acquire,
Let me get this right you pay $309 and then $221 for you second and so on . Added to you licence
in NSW I pay $200 for a five year and a PTA is one time cost of $30 per firearm

Not WA Police. Govt finance Dept. You need to see all the documentation that goes with the notice

Interesting that our Police that have treated us like s**t for decades are begging for innocence on this; every club got notices that it was Government Finance department.
This almost certainly means that Labor despise us and want us crushed.

No. (And you can add multiple of the same class on one application for addition).

BUT our Police want (but have not the resources for) us re-justifying our Genuine Need every few years.

S Ostle who is Chair of SFFP WA has distributed a petition to local clubs and stores and so forth, get down your local and sign it, it is there for you to make yourself be heard, the SFFP and so on are doing their utmost to help in the situation in finding preliminary information that is being withheld and like any group can only do so much without the support of all of us. I have a digital form for the petition that I can give out if you PM me.

thanks

Licence is $61 for one year - no 5 year licences in WA. The fee to add one or more additional firearms is $221 but you can add multiple firearms of A and B class in one application. If you want to add one or more category H (handgun) or one or more C category (semi-auto or pump shotgun) that's a separate application so another $221 for each category. And you must include a new property letter or club support letter for each separate firearm and a serviceability certificate for each separate firearm regardless of category A, B, C or H - so if you are buying privately you need a dealer to inspect and issue a certificate (for a price). That goes even for a brand new firearm (though the dealer generally (always) includes the certificate if you buy from them).
Listing your firearms is as good as a fingerprint.
