SSAAWA Membership and Genuine Need

Post by colin.rac » 10 Jan 2023, 11:20 pm

Hello all,

Recently saw a very nice Remington 700 at my local shop chambered in .223 Rem.

With my first rifle, I used a store bought letter and that has seemed to have gotten approved by WAPOL, as they sent me a pre-approval letter and a form 22. The Remington 700 is kind of a dream rifle of mine, and I doubt a store bought letter is going to impress WAPOL and be approved.

Any chance I could simply join SSAAWA and satisfy genuine need, and satisfy genuine reason with club shooting/target shooting? Or would I have to join an local rifle club and go that route?

Why worry? A letter is a letter. Trust me!
