Emply Magazines, in your Safe with your gun or with Ammo ?

Quick question

You have a safe with a separate lockable ammo section. Your empty handgun magazines, do you keep them with your handgun (in a pistol case within the safe) or with the ammo in the ammo lockable section ?

I am thinking with the handgun, just wanted to double check

In WA a magazine is classed as a firearm part so stored with your gun.
