Yep. The politics behind all this is really going silly now, it really is now going beyond a joke.

Hope this stupid rule gets thrown out just limits peoples opportunities to hunt big time

It's the same in Tas. Forestry Tas will give you a letter of permission for $10. NSW departmental counterpart should be able to do the same thing.

To get that in NSW you will need to do the r licence course . Any idea if the permission restricts you to that sole property or state land ?

It is a general permission letter from the Forestry that states 'Joe Blogs' may hunt on forestry land. It's not restricted to specific place.
