I just received my capper. It's made from German Silver so it should stay reasonably shiny.

It will make capping the nipple quite a bit less fiddly and prevent me from spilling the tiny little container of caps.

German Silver is basicly brass with nickel added to give it a silvery luster and prevent tarnishing.
60% copper, 20% zinc and 20% nickel.

There's still a few of Wile. E Coyote's ideas that I haven't tried yet.

Does it work well ? I find mine sometimes let's 2 through and invariably the second one falls out as I put the first one on the nipple

It works very well.

Because it has a gate that's controlled by the button / lever it only lets one cap get to the tip at a time.

Once the cap gets to the tip a small flat spring holds the cap just tight enough so it won't fall out.

The tip is just small enough that it's easy enough to line the cap up with the nipple.
