I don't have issue with NPs if they are "special". Many are not. But they just lock them up with far too many restrictions. Can't even take our silky terrier camping in them. So as a result we generally stay away.

Hunting foxes or dogs forget it, just leave them to feed on our natives. Utter lunacy.

The biggest issue is that the Govt has not ruled out future mining expansion.

But apart from that,,,,,, are the Parks management going to "manage" it properly ???
As in,,,,,,,,,,,, noxious weeds,, annual burns,, feral dogs,, feral cats etc. ?

Or, just let those issues become rampant.

If they are locking up Crown land at least the spivs from the real estate industry cannot get at it and subdivide it into tiny blocks and put units on it.
